The fire rages within me I need to transcend
I must not go super nova, not yet
all the doors are open
which arena do a step in

I am a fragile man of heart
I'm reaching out to touch faith
my lord give me the strength to carry on
I will always step to the side for you

Let my sad cabaret play out
watch as I rise and fall in art
I will sing in pure freedom
as I do in my poetry

I will range far and wide
I will proclaim I am a star
the neon kind
dark as I am
