Great Architect
Forgive me my Lord
for the fever takes me over
I can't think to write
I feel like I am dying
The numbness in my body
is in unison with my mind
I am crippled at this point
yet I will write as much as you will
Your sun shines through my window
yet you know I am broken inside
so I will not pity the foolish me
called once again to be by your side
I did what you asked of me
all the wrongs you wanted
to your loving light
I do drift back again
And if they ask why
why I came back to your sky
smile my love at them
say, what is willed will be done
Oh father and mother
great architect of light
who granted me wings
asking me to now take flight
