Death Becomes Me
My heart stands still at the winter of time
my hair is going grey each day
yet I hold out my hand
dying for you to touch it
You were once blessed with wings
my beloved take hold of me
I will not leave you
for I am your brother ranger
Never will I let you die alone
for something deeper I feel for you
and by the arms of my God
I will have the strength to carry you
May I die in eternal flames
if I don't get you out
out of here
so I can do my work
Your eyes may not watch
as my black wings unfold
for my name is Death
for mortals to behold
