The Dark Ling Of London
It waits in the shadows keen
with sharp hooks for it's fingers
evil screams it's patronage
to this deluded figure
Troll would be kind to call it
yet this beast of London bridge
named in dark dire curses
appears when it is mentioned
I would dare not write it's name
for even that could call it
then from out of the shadows
would be screaming for blood
Determined hands and blood lust
would so make short work of me
as it slithers towards me
I give it then my last breath
