She loves to say goodbye
She tells me all the time
No need to remind
She loves to say goodbye

I have never met her friends
Though I've asked time and time again
I may not be around when
She finally does give in

Not sure about her Mom and Dad
Hasn't introduced me yet
If I had to place a bet
Don't know if I should cry or laugh

We met on the side of the road
With her thumb in overload
I said where, she said just go
Maybe then I should have known

That she loves to say goodbye
Cause she tells me all the time
Guess there's no need to remind
That she loves to say goodbye
