the work supervisor
turned up at my work place
and I would have preferred
he wasn't in my face

all he did was nit pick
about minor details
and in doing so
he took the wind out of my sails

he's always full of complaints
and never any compliments
he was very harsh
with his work site assessment

over the years I've done my best
to keep the site looking swell
but when the work supervisor turns up
I feel like telling him to go to hell

I can't wait until
my last pay day at the place
then I'll be wearing
a big smile on my face

the work supervisor
I'll be happy to bid farewell
and from hard yakka
I can take a well earned spell
