do you exist
or are you just a figment
of your own imagination
but of course
if you did not exist
how can you have an imagination
just because you cannot see it
doesn't mean it isn't there
how do you measure
the truth
you can be promised the moon
but often the moon
is out of sight
at least in your perspective
waxing and waning
but we know it is still there
is this the theorem
of politicians
just because you cannot see it
doesn't mean I haven't done it
how do you measure
the truth
it is always coated with spin
the depth of the measurement
can be determined
by the height of your boots
multiplied by the depths
of your soul
divided by the thickness
of your head
