Silver Star
Mum, I'm feeling so cold
something warm seeps out
pouring warm, so slowly out of me
Mother, am I going to get home
for I seem to be getting further away
yet I senses tell me you are close
Tell me there's a future called peace
for all the blood that's been lost
tell me we have justified the cost
I do not want to die, mother
in so much pain and coughing blood
sinking into this unkind field of mud
I know your warm loving arms
can not comfort me from afar
so remember me, your silver star
