Maybe
So old and tattered I feel
so warn out and grey
I am breathing my last breath
to the end of my days
Will I be just a hollow memory
in a world of be or not be
should I stamp my feet
that I am not complete
Would death be a friend
call me a friendly foe
would he take me
where I need to go
Maybe he will be a comfort
maybe a good fellow
so maybe I will follow him
into the darkness of night
