My daughter and her family came to visit,
I was darning my dress,
My daughter said,"Throw it away."
Buy a new one.
I asked my son-in-law if he would fix the
leaking faucet,
He went and bought a new one,
I asked my granddaughter for her pen to write,
She readily gave it to me,
But she told her mum to buy her another.
In our times we fixed things and made do with them,
We even had plumbers, tailors ,cobblers to do minor jobs,
We even fixed our married life,
Put up with cranky people,
Hard life,
Nowadays if a couple argues and feels the
spouse is impossible to live with,
DIVORCE - throw the marriage away.
