daddy had a  country band with friends and family
wrote there own songs with a country melody
every where they played  people gathered round
they would come and listen to there country sound

crowd they all joined in when they sang song
dancing altogether as they sang along
playing different venues every  here and there
drawing the crowds came from every where

playing all night long till the break of day
singing there own songs they just love play
maybe oneday i will be a singer  to
join in with the  band is what i long to do
