In rings 'round flaming embers,
We who are gathered here together -
Hope, dream, aspire, remember.

Time, as to us;
At is? Finite, momentary.

Nature, as we choose it;
¹Incongruous? Confusion, pain.

What is there which be truly objective?

Science.

We who strive to learn to understand,
To understand to learn;
To forge understanding
Is to distill wisdom.

What rationality, ²temperament, to provide with lucidity?

Kindness.

We who stride to strengthen to stand,
To stand to strengthen;
To find strength
Is to have discovered discipline.

Be patient -
Have compassion -
With all inhabitants.

Peace is harmony,
Harmony is peace.

To live is to learn,
To learn is to live.

Mutual co-existence, universal liberty;
Truth is individuality's wreath.

Respecting one
