grandma loved her porch she would sit all day
sitting in her rocking she would rock away
she loved country music  she would sing a song
i would sit beside her then i would sing along

she loved the country sound has done as kid
sing to country songs that all she ever did
even wore a cowboy hat and some leather boots
guess my old grandma had some country roots

when the kids came round to hear my grandma sing
joy to there hearts grandma  she would bring
they would tap there feet as they sang along
dancing the day away to good ole country song
