I don’t mind the bottom of the list.
I’ll linger there,
waiting.
Always waiting.

Like a **** dog, my darling,
I’d curl by the door,
trembling,
eyes begging for the tiniest piece
of your mind.

Don’t leave me.
Don’t forget me.
Not ever.
Not for a second.

I’d break for you,
shatter into a thousand pieces,
and still beg,
still ache,
still burn
for your memory, your shadow, your love.
