To commemorate Uta van Ballenstedt (c. 1000-1046), married to Margrave Ekkehard II of MeiΓen, as one of the founders of the Naumburg Cathedral her statue was put on the facade; Walt Disney based the looks of Snow White's Evil Queen on this statue
