i watched all the bikers as they came Dave day
they came in there thousands from many miles away
heading in to barrow on Dave day number two
everyone loved Dave someone we all knew

i was born in barrow not to far away
just around the corner from where Dave used to stay
i watched the hairy bikers on there tv show
there was Dave and Si that we all got to know

traveling the world with there cooking ways
between the two of them became  a cooking craze
Dave he passed away to his pastures new
to his home in heaven in the sky so  blue

he will be remembered a legend he will stay
his name it will live on his special day
