We made sand castles together in the summer
we would skip to the lick of the waves in wet sand
no talking was needed for when with her
we only wrote to each other, you know that way

And when that storm came on that horrid day
I told my sister please god, run away
with much hesitation I must say
for to my horror she wanted to stay

Then the storm did whip us
it's fury was something to behold
my sister was ****** into the darkness
and I never saw her again

Her whispers remain in my heart
and forever I will be proud
that my sweet sister
did hold the line
