My words
shall be few
more will pollute:
it's enough
if they are true
to what makes me
as I am--no more:

here, there
everywhere
words flush
the daily air
endless
careless
needless
at every thoroughfare

silence
I must learn
and be aware
of the sanctity
of words unspoken
there's the hidden diamond
beyond compare.
