Alone Again

        There’s no turning back now
I’m past the point of no return
My destiny it seems is to keep burning
Bridges, I guess I’ll never learn

I’m on yet another journey without
A blueprint or any kind of plan
I didn’t  want to leave this way
But I was forced to play my hand

Out on the highway driving in the
Blowing snow,  I’m completely exhausted
I’m struggling to stay awake and
Keep my windows defrosted

We were together last night
We shared an enchanted kiss
I was riding on cloud nine
Living a life of complete bliss

We had a chemistry there was
A spark and there was desire
I certainly felt I was on the edge of
Love but it wasn’t enough for the fire

I’m a man and I can’t remember the last
Time I cried, fighting the tears in my eyes
I can’t believe another chance for love
Was lost and my inevitable demise

I’ll never know what went wrong
What was the beginning of the end
How can I go on without you and what’s
My purpose now that I’m Alone Again
