Jesus, invited to a feast
By a Pharisee
Came in with dusty feet
This was as all would see,

It was quite important
For foot washing back then,
So it was very evident
Jesus was not a friend!

He was an unwanted guest
Who didn't deserve rules
The required foot washing
Was so unfulfilled

The "religious" men just mocked him
Such wàs their cruelty
Jesus was the a spectical
For everyone to see.

In walked a painted woman
With long and flowing hair
Christ had before released her
From her sin's despair.

The evil men were critical
To one another said
She still had loose morals
The way she still sashaid.

She ķneĺt down to Jesus humbly
Wept and stayed right there
She washed His dusty feet with tears
And wiped them with her hair.

Perceiving the hypocrites
The way they cruelly judged
Gave them a word to make them think
And then they held a grudge

"You judge her for doing this
And the way she walked
You didn't wash my feet yourselves
You criticized and talked,

The beauty of the thìn̈g she's done
You do not applaud
But she goes where you'll never go
Heaven to be with God.

Those forgiven mucĥ love deeply
Then God gives loving thoughts
You should know YOU HAVE NO LOVE
SO HE FORGIVES YOU NOT.
