In shadows where my dreams once glowed,
An imaginary friend’s tales overflowed.
In that world, fears take flight,
Yet by day, I'm gripped by fright,
A scary solitude, weakness bestowed.

With memories softly entwined,
In this paradise world, solace I find.
But mental illness creeps near,
Loneliness whispers here,
As I wander through fragments of mind.
