Go.
The silence screams, a deafening roar,
Your smile, a memory,
bittersweet at the core.
My mind twists,
dissecting moments we shared,
Haunted by the fear your wings might be bared.

The crushing weight,
a choked, strangled sob,
But love sets free, if that's the only throb.
The door swings wide,
a tear rolls down my face,
If you must fly, this love sets you to grace.
