When I’m In Heaven

        Everyday there’s a mindset
There’s always a tomorrow
But life can be taken in an instant
Leaving behind a trail of pain and sorrow

I’ve lived a life and still
I feel I’ve got a life to live
The Lords gift I did receive
And of myself I give

When I was young I was
Full of energy and fire
But now I’m sixty three
And I just want to retire

I’m done with work and I want to
Enjoy living while I’m still alive
But the laws for social security
Says I must wait until sixty five

There’s talk on table now they’re
Thinking of raising it to sixty seven
The way things are going I’ll be applying
For my SS When I’m In Heaven
