Every life
has a wall-
too high
or too low?
What's in store?
Is there a need
to go across
at all?

Greener grass
on the other side?
(it's your imagination!)
Know that many
have hurt their pride
in being thoughtless
blind and foolish

my task here
is still incomplete
by the present hours
I must abide -
I've no time
to look elsewhere
nor to be distracted -

the wall to me
is just a divider
I've no desire
to cross over
