I levitate on grass
Praying for the pain to pass
A distraction for my weary mind
Until I’m free at last

My body, though it hurts
I’ve seen and been through worse
An unapologetic curse
Inflamed, about to burst

But, I take it all in stride
Riding the waves at low and high tides
Using only a moral compass as guide
To navigate my turbulent life

My mind frame is unwell and unkept
Sunken down to the darkening depths
I swim up to reach air
Although I’m still unprepared
For the moment my life turns to death 💀
