Autumn breathsΒ
the enlightened truth of the ages
The leaves on the trees
are no longer flourishing with life
But as the green fades
to reveal its vulnerable side
We become aware that even as things
are falling apartΒ
There is still beauty to be found
And the way the trees let go,
oh so graciously of their leaves as if to say,
"I wish you the best."
It is such a captivating experience
Perhaps we could all learn a little something
from the trees
