She dreamed herself a childhood dream,
for someone to be you, truly
Someone to quieten my mind
Beautiful boy with soft eyes,
He looks at her
His eyes tell stories
Shared to me and my hand be well and fell into cheek
Oh but dreaming our life would be all real magic
If skies were like warm sheets
I’d fall through the clouds, right in a blanket of stars,
‘Cause laying with you is all I need
The truth is that,
Baby, we’re timeless,
Just a lonesome girl, you only just met
At the right time, place,
the right moment
"Look at me", he says,
Look at what she finally shares:
"I feel giddy and safe,
not scared to be frisky in our ways
When I’m around you
It’s silly to bathe
In thoughts that are about you always
Your long gaze leaves me mad,
The next second the madness melts away
The staring leaves me to question this:
'If it’s just a connection',
Let every step of it be the way
I'm just asking,
Taking it slow with you, day by day
And I hope for the best
For me, foundation is key,
For we build what rests,
and that's all it is for us to be,
and then what we pray for is really granted, see
So what if I broke into your home of a heart
It was you, always you, how you simply stole mine,
And we were thieves of our own
Not bothered by catching happy highs
We played each others' heart strings,
And playing all these love songs I used to sing,
A love that once burned me- it now transforms, lives on,
By every delicate push we make on each others' childhood swings
We live our lived dream, I dreamt alive for-
I can’t believe if it's for the first time it’s sure
A great find and quick to measure time together
Every easy road that winds before us
Makes it worthwhile, to even trust
And to treasure life forever
It was not of a path of love I always spoke of,
For I’d never write anything other than to fill a well with teary emotions
That is poured on out, and rains onto the dead,
And for this, it may well be my last poem,
'Cause, you’re all that there is …
The only love,
Needed to be found,
Needed to be said."
