I journeyed and took off to uncharted lands
To quench my thirst and my list of demands
I traveled the planet by myself all alone
Just to make it back to the place I call home
Where there’s comfort and solace and freedom to roam
Familiar surroundings that say I’m in my zone
I’ve got home-cooked meals and a comfortable bed
The place I call home is where I lay my head
I’ve come back to the town of which I once fled
With a new strong desire to paint the town red
