I got no desire to go
back, bad memories
were combed into my
scalp, furrows on the
forehead are a living
testimony to all which
still tries to haunt me.

Just as the ocean can
conceal its sound in a
shell, souvenirs of our
past seek asylum in the
human skull and hence
the endless tidal battle
that echoes in our ears.
