I didn’t cast a shadow
I only cast a stone
Into a sea of forgotten dreams
Then contemplated all that’s known
All throughout the universe
Passed the clouds and stars
Into other galaxies
Past Jupiter and Mars
Into a whole new dimension
Where shadows don’t exist
Far from home and all alone
It’s a shame that I’ll be missed
But that’s how it goes
What’s bare; exposed
Out into the atmosphere
Not wearing the right clothes
Until I’m ****** into the vortex
The blackest of black holes
Because that is where my destination
Keeps stifling my growth
