Sleeping cornfields
Waiting for the sun
Fawns are grazing
Morning has begun.
Dew upon the
Meadow green
Waking pastures
So serene.
Wind is whistling
Through the trees
Birds upon the breeze
Fox and hares do there
Morning dance
It’s such a pleasure to see.
Pathway walkers
Bring in the morn
To catch a glimpse
Of the baby fawn
Slice of cake and a cup
Of tea
Breeze is in my face
Countryside mornings
Can you think
Of  a better place.
