Life was like a desert,
And I wandered through it like a nomad.

This thirsty soul was searching for water,
And suddenly, there came the arrival of a mermaid.

On the path, there were many ponds and lakes,
Yet my heart remained stuck on her alone.

Finally, when I reached close to her,
She turned out to be nothing but an illusion.

The thirst remained,
And my search was incomplete.

I continued on this futile journey,
Until God granted me that oasis.

That’s when I realized this was love, this was passion,
And in the end, I found the solace of my life.
