You said our fire burned too bright
We lost control of the flame
But I've been dancing here, dwelling
I'll take the blame

Because I'd watch the world burn for you
And I'd do it with no shame

You said our fire burned too bright
We lost control of the flame.

I can see that you've realized where you're standing
You're not lost in it anymore
Now you're drowning
And to let you save yourself is the only way
Because I'm dancing in this light
And you're afraid

You found a way too quench your thirst
And **** the flame
Put out the fire give up desire you didn't refrain
For I was so in love with the love and not the man
I didn't see I never saw you walk away.
