Unaided
Unaided, forlorn
Once worn, now torn
So long in faith she saw
Now denial’s raw.
Eyes looked upon light
Now cower in fright
Fear blankets her being
Vines rip apart the seams.
The truth, now lies.
Through death, defy
In contempt, she stayed
Her violence, portrayed.
Desolate, wrong
Rain down, in storms
Insightful, blind
Her form, no one can find.
