Dec 1
some foods must
because they seem to last forever
and look as fresh as the day they were made.

I would not do such a thing
I'll crack like a fine oil painting
or be locked into
foxing like a water-colour,

my age has become my go-to
and it's a place that I know too
like a second-skin
I have fit right in
and feel that
I'm finally home.
