Cold comforts
If it's hope that's in your hands
you'd better hold on tight
some would try to make you lose it
and take you back into the night.
For it's hope that leads you on
into a brighter day
hold on tight to what you have
don't let your light fade away.
and those fifteen tonnes of memories
that weigh heavy on your soul
are only what you make of them
so
dig a hole and bury them.
