What worked for you, may not work for them.

What makes you sentimental, are the worries they condemn.

Listen to how they talk.
See how they view the world.
Embrace their pain.
Embrace their vulnerability.

You and I are not the same
We run the same race with nothing to gain
Put myself in your shoes,
And maybe we can both win through and through.

But if you cant match my pace,
You cannot see my face.

Cause to love you true, we must see each others point of view.
