The earth shows
up those of value
and those who are
good for nothing.

But I never feared
being buried, (until
now) because they
use D9 Caterpillars.

I assumed stars were
symbols of hope, and
the sky, a place that
was strobe lit by them.

When one fell close to
our homeland in Gaza,
nobody, even thought,
or attempted to catch it.

And yes, the rainy day
came, but we'd rather
have our pockets empty,
than the linings burned.
