If only I had started to do it when I knew it had to be done, and it would have been, should have been, could have been ready by
now, but you know how things go when you become a bit slow
and the years start their advance,

and yet, even now girls ask me to dance,
but only to their giddy tune,
my answer's
no chance.

now I have to do it
I have no more excuses to give
and you're wondering what?
if you're not, why not?
or is it
that you have to do it too?
