I used to be attracted to you
like ants to honey.

But you only gave me breadcrumbs,
leading to leftovers from
your passed love affairs and
failed relationships.

I became a blood trail,
you beat my heart
dragged it through the dirt,
and left me there in the
middle of the street to
bleed out for everyone to see.

I am an accusation, a failed
project you neglected.

You thought you stole my flame,
but you forgot the candle
you dummy.

I will never go out without
a fight, now you forced me
to get hotter stronger and
brighter.

If you try to touch me again,
you will face my heat
and pressure, with least
resistance you'll be nothing.
