I still see through
underneath all the new
you're the same old you
that loves and misses me too
even if you can't look me in the eyes and tell me that it's true
and even when you refuse

I still see through
it wasn't your choice to choose
and I know you do
perhaps you and I were meant to lose
or maybe we just withdrew

I still see through
laying next to her as you slumber and snooze
dreaming of how I held you under a starry sky bloom
for with me you grew up and into who?
the most dangerous heart I will ever belong to
all of which I still see through
