Works Sunday
Between a rock and a resting place,
a face appears before me
carved out from the unforgiving stone
not yet a cemetery
She weeps for her son
knowing only this
that the story will go on
I'm having a cold beer
writing a postcard
wish you were here
and
at times I think they are.
