Trapped within a color shade
Pitch
Uncertain through the eye waves
Searching with no find
No glance of light
In a plight
Feeling here and there
Open space to nowhere
No touch to determine
Darkened journey
Thinking alone
No light
No sight
How does one fine their way?
Hoping and trying to grasp
There is no question for me to ask
In a maze
Loss not found
Widening directions
Can’t see anything
All amaze
Maneuvering about
Totally black
Imaging the moment if I was blind
Feeling a Blind person’s blow
I must take it nice and slow
Dark in and throughout
Darkness in control
Stuck in my own threshold
Like it or not
Darkness wins out
