We've been living in the future
Since yesterday has passed
What will be tomorrow
Is anybody's guess

Will there be rocket ships to give us lifts
To where we want to go
Or sit on the couch and figure out
It all with mind control

Will we still gravitate to stuffing face
Or take our meals in pills
And will I still avoid the ones
That are clearly marked vegetable

Will the sun still shine on
To illuminate mankind
Or will our pasty complexions
Come from electric candlelight

Will we solve all of our problems
Yet still hang on to a few
Smoke em if you got em
After all what have we got to lose

While living in the future
With yesterday long gone
When it comes to tomorrow
What could possibly go wrong
