Dec 2023
I could have marched on Rome
or flown to Mecca, could have
driven a double-decker around
the streets of Cairo,
but
I didn't want to go

me,
being a stay-at-home type
never quite getting the drift
of the hype
remain
comfortable
musing
occasionally snoozin'
and
listening to
Radio 4.
