Silence that lingers
Sometimes it lasts for days
Without a word to be heard
And your mind rots away
The flowers may be listening
Hearing what we cannot
They grow where we decay
Where we chose to put our plot
Nothing truly leaves
Nothing truly stays
The seasons will repeat
But it will not be the same
