Our marriage vows,
Said we had to answer honestly,
With a yes or  a no
Only one question each day.
There were no restrictions.

At dawn my eternity asked me
If I had ever killed anyone.
I said yes.

I asked her if she
Wanted anyone killed.
She said yes.

We ate our breakfast silently.
