Palm Seed
The wind blew over the beach
the palms swayed and a seed did fall
it rolled down the baking beach
then was met by waters cool
Slowly it bobbed out to sea
on a journey it's kind have done before
an epic journey of endurance
till it comes to kinder shores
Whilst it travels through waters deep
small fish hide in it's shadow
and invisible they hope to keep
from menacing predators below
This beacon of hope
in the void of the sea
will reach land soon
to grow into a tree
