Whisper wind throughout the summer months
for there is no reason to shout your distraction
I hear your song within the emerald leaves
as you gently sway the branches of the trees

I close my eyes and smell your sweet odour
laying static on the ground in beds of clover
my land is now so green and full of contentment
humming warm melodies of peace intent.

These splendid days that are lazy and long
give docile eloquence to chattering bird song
such blue skies are prolific and truly divine
I could lay here for eternity in weather so fine.
