DARKNESS

Darkness finds you and it binds you

Pins you firmly down upon the ground

Black is calling and you’re falling

Your cries are hopeless and you are ropeless

Sorrow beckons and hurts like weapons

You try to run, they laugh for fun

Misery takes you and it breaks you

Your life is in shambles, you’re full of brambles

Despair will come and make you no one

Beaten and ******, ripped up and muddy

Nowhere to go, you scream and you know

You’re stuck in a ditch, life’s a *****

In all your bleakness, hate knows your weakness

Come, give in, darkness will win

Rage soon rears its face, you will put others in their place

Darkness will pray and all this will stay

Until your death, your very last breath

They love you like mothers, they caress you like lovers

They are silently killing, your blood they are spilling

No place to hide, should you have died?

You are slowly dying and you still aren’t crying

Just know how much you are loved here on earth and above.
